The Raven is a magical bird, shrouded in folklore. The Pomegranate has one of the richest symbolic histories of any fruit. Brought together in this limited edition, A4 (21 x 29.7cm), hand gilded print, they create a mystical combination.
 
I’ve just added this new creation to the site. Rich in mystery and symbolism, Raven & Pomegranate is a limited-edition A4 print, finished with hand-applied gold leaf.
Both the raven and the pomegranate are steeped in folklore and legend. While the piece carries personal meaning for me, I’ve chosen not to define its symbolism too closely. Instead, I invite you to bring your own interpretation to the artwork, allowing its story and significance to unfold in a way that is uniquely yours.
 
Printed onto matt archival paper using archival inks, each one is hand gilded in my Somerset studio with 23.5 carat gold leaf. There are 100 prints in the edition. The oval mount board will have the edition number and my signature on it. They come mounted but not framed.
 
They're printed and gilded to order, so please allow a couple of days for the gold to be applied.

The whole piece measures A4 (21 x 29.7cm) in size, including the mount, ready to fit into a standard A4 frame.

All artworks should be kept out of direct sunlight to prevent fading. If possible they are best framed behind a UV protective glass.

Postage is free with the UK and £15 for overseas.
