The Common Blue and the Rosehips, an original, framed, gouache painting on gold leaf. 
 
One of my larger gold backed paintings, this shows two common blue butterflies sitting on a little perch, tied with a ribbon to a stem of rosehips, with leaves and red berries.
 
The picture is surrounded by a hand painted and gilded mount board, designed to compliment the painting. It's all held within a large oak frame, with glass.
 
The painting is signed and dated and will come with a certifitcate of authenticity.

Including the frame, the whole piece meassures approx. w31 x h37 x d2 cm. It comes ready to hang.

Currently only posting this within the UK, which is free.  It will be sent via courier. Wherever possible I will use recycled materials to package it.
