Gilding
If you're interested in learning how to gild, you may find my E Book, 'Gold Leaf Art for Beginners'

All gilding supplies can be purchased from www.goldleafsupplies.co.uk or https://www.stonehouses.co.uk/ unless stated otherwise.
If you're buying from overseas, you may need to google the names and terms to find a supplier near you.
Gold Size - The glue which I use to gild my flower letters is 'Kölner Miniatum - Yellow - 50ml'
https://www.stonehouses.co.uk/50ml-kolner-miniatum-yellow.html
Acrylic Gold Size - When using transfer leaf I will use an acrylic gold size like Wundasize or Missione. It can be coloured by mixing in a little watercolour paint or used clear. There are many variations of acrylic goldsize.

Gilders Pad / Cushion - This is the surface which I cut the gold leaf on. Again, mine is a old one, this one is similar.
Gilders Knife - This one is similar to mine.
Instacol Cloth - This is the little, soft cloth that I use to pat down the gold on my flower letters.
Kölner Instacoll Tissues - Pack of 5
I wash and reuse them.

Imitation Leaf Sealer - Imitation leaf will tarnish if left un-sealed. This is a good sealant.

Home Made Sealant - I also sometimes make my own sealant which I call 'Fixing Polish'
Make a 50:50 mix of methylated spirit and french polish.
